Autostars Mounir Bazerji is glad to introduce a 4-Door and 5-Door version of the automatic Subaru WRX STI in presence of his Excellency the Ambassador of Japan in Lebanon Mr. Koichi Kawakami, and the General Manager of the Sales and Marketing department of Fuji Heavy Industries (LTD) in Middle East and Africa Mr. Yasushi Nagae.
The 2011 WRX STI are being pitched as the” Fastest WRX STIs ever”. Not only because of a boost in power, but due to aerodynamic, structural and suspension improvements that, according to project manager Hiroshi Mori, improve driver confidence and mean they “can be used safely at any speed.”
This fastest AT in the Subaru line-up is designed for the high-power 300 PS turbo with active paddle shit, giving the driver the desired engine braking characteristics immediately.
An original “vehicle to be driven as the driver intends” concept of the WRX STI has been offered with 2 body styles, 5-Door and an even more aerodynamically superior 4-Doors sedan to maximize performance on the road.
Development of the WRX STI is focused on safety, reliability and speed, with every aspect tested under extreme operating conditions around the world, the most intense being at the Nürburgring in Germany. That apparently includes lapping in an impressive 7’ 55’’ in the hands of an obviously confident rally ace Tommi Makinen.
Reunion of WRX STI lovers with their special Subaru cars parked in front of the Showroom in Zalka added an exceptional and vigorous ambiance to the event.
